Cheetah

The cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus) is a large-sized feline inhabiting most of Africa and parts of the Middle East. The cheetah achieves by far the fastest land speed of any living animal—between 112 and 120 km/h in short bursts covering distances up to 500 m and has the ability to accelerate from 0 to over 100 km/h in three seconds.

This cat is also notable for modifications in the species' paws. It is one of the only felids with semi-retractable claws, and with pads that, by their scope, disallow gripping. Thus, cheetahs cannot climb upright trees, although they are generally capable of reaching easily accessible branches. (Source: wikipedia.org)

5 minutes before 5 PM in 5th Avenue

I have had this photos waiting for being uploaded for a long-long time, it is so old that this is even in a smaller format...anyway, I like the rush and also in a way timeless feeling of this shot, black and white definitely makes it alive and number make a wonderful combination.

NYC state of mind.

A kind rodent had left two cute peanuts to the drawer of my renovation project's, which is a night cabinet. I guess one didn't make it there, and got lost in the subway somewhere....

By the way nuts are a great source of PROTEIN.

Parliament Hill

Parliament Hill (French: Colline du Parlement), colloquially known as The Hill, is an area of Crown land on the southern banks of the Ottawa River in downtown Ottawa, Ontario. Its Gothic revival suite of buildings — the parliament buildings — serves as the home of the Parliament of Canada and contains a number of architectural elements of national symbolic importance. Parliament Hill attracts approximately 3 million visitors each year. (Source: Wikipedia.org)

Not much of a hill on this photo, but at least the buildings are there, landmarks of a great and proud country. You see the flag there.
